Wyoming History News began immediately after the Society was officially organized in 1953 as monthly publication. The newsletter is issued ten times a year, and the content covers current activities of the Society, news pertinent to those interested in historical developments statewide, and special announcements.
Distribution is available both as a mailed physical copy and a digital version, and both are sent to approximately 1,300 supporters of the Wyoming Historical Society as a benefit.
All historical and history-adjacent organizations are encouraged to send both past and upcoming programming, news, and announcements to Editor of the Wyoming History News and our Executive Director via email at info@wyshs.org.
